Hi All,
Anyone have API exits written in C for following operating systems AS400,OS390, HPUX.please send me samples if you have, send me the links which gives the infomation.

API Exits are not supported on OS/390 or Z/OS.
For the other platforms the code is the same, only the build process is different.

Hi Clindsey,
Thanks for the information.
As per the WebSphere MQ Information center Z/OS is not supported for API exit.
Just curious, Is there any specific reason for OS/390 for not supporting API Exits.

Becuase z/OS supports the API Crossing Exit instead? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I would expect that the code base for WMQ for Z/OS and OS/390 is very similar if not the same. As Jeff said, you should use the API Crossing Exits for these platforms.
