Hi,
I have just set up the WBI MB v5.0. When I try to run for first time using ' create a default configuration', I end up getting the following error in the event log :
------------------------------------------
( ConfigMgr ) Java exception caught via the JNI from the ConfigurationManager.initialize class: exception text 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/disthub2/spi/StandardServiceImpl'.
This may be an internal error, possibly due to a faulty installation, however review of the exception text may indicate a solution. In particular, if (on NT) the text indicates that mqjbnd02 cannot be found then this suggests that your PATH environment variable has not been set up correctly following WebSphere Business Integration classes for Java installation.
Stop the Configuration Manager service and if the exception text does not allow you to solve the problem then you should contact your IBM
------------------------------------------
When I checked the ibm website for this problem, they recommended for checking the 'C:\Program Files\ibm\DistHub\'. I do not find any files in the folder apart from '_uninst' folder. can you please help me for this problem :
Do I need to re-install DistHub? if so, where it is available ? I have tried to replicate the folder by copying files from existing set up, which is running fine. But that did not helped?
Is there anything else I need to fix ?
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
-hemen

Have you applied any CSD?
It is required for WBIMB that it should be used with atleast CSD01.
The latest CSD is CSD05.
Once you install the CSD, your problem may be sorted out. You gotta make sure that your Toolkit shows correct CSD level.
To check the current CSD level, open the toolkit, go to Help-About Message Broker---, and it should show you correct version. For e.g. if you are on CSD level 4, then it should show you version : 5.0.4
If it is not showing correct CSD level, you have reinstall the CSD and restart your machine.
Sometimes, there is a problem in the defaul config wizard, so try to create it using commands instead of wizard. _________________ Vivek
