OK, today I modified the registry entries for one of my MQManagers changing LogPrimaryFiles from 3 to 30.
Then from DOS prompt stopped and restarted the MQManager and looked in ~/log/MQMGR/active expecting to see 30 logs there instead of the former 3 but, alas there were only three logs there.
Then I stopped and restarted the MQMGR using the WMQ Services Console. Still only 3 logs.
So then I rebooted, confimed that MQMGR was running and still there are only 3 active logs.
Am I doing something wrong, have I missed something or in Windows unlike on the Unix platform are the logs created as needed?

Yes
You can use Q Program and put lots of messages under transaction and then you will see log files. |
