Has anyone used the -f file option on the mqsicreateaclgroup command, if so how do i use it. I tried various ways, never could get it to work. Also, can i wildcard to cover all execution groups under a broker?

say if i want to grant full access to a group to all the brokers and execution groups, topic and subscription. Do i have to individually grant full access to the broker, then full access to all execution groups and then RTS etc..? Is there a easier way of doing it?

The HELP doesn't really help a lot.

any suggestions?

When i grant full access to a broker, the execution groups under them still show restricted access, from what i read from help - a full access to broker grants full control over contained execution groups. am i missing something?

Doublecheck that the permissions were granted using mqsilistaclgroup.

Disconnect from the Broker Domain and reconnect.

thanks Jeff,
I double checked the permissions, all the brokers have a full access 'F'. The execution groups still shows as restricted access. I did disconnect and reconnect.

I used mqsicreateaclgroup -g groupname -x F -b brokername

any suggestions?

Open a PMR with IBM.

The documentation clearly states that full broker access includes full execution group access for all execution groups.

And in the mean time, see if granting full access to one EG fixes it for that EG.
