Hey Rishi...
Mine was strange problem.
I imported the STAFF properties of workflow configuration(JDR) into another WF configuration(FMC). Thats why I got that problem.
In the FDL that I imported, I had the encrypted password for the staff. So the new configuration decoded it to other than "password".
If you have any other issue related to ADMIN password issues...post here...Forum can help you.
Suggestion: Try not to import the ADMIN property any time as when you install workflow, ADMIN person properties will be imported automatically into runtime (check your log files). or if you want to import.......check your FDL for encrypted passwords of the STAFF.
Hope this helps |

This has been answered before on this forum. (try the search feature)
The password is encrypted using the SystemGroup such that if you import user ADMIN from another configuration you are likely to clobber the password.
I would NEVER have a RTDB that I cared about that did not have at least 1 additional user who can use the utilities. I always define a JMAC user who has all of the authorities possible. This way if someone clobbers my ADMIN user I still have a way to get in and fix things. _________________ John McDonald

Jmac,
Thats good idea to have one other username with ADMIN rights.
But is there anyway not to get encrypted password when we import the FDL from buildtime. I mean when the staff properties are imported , the password field shold be 'password' rather than some encrypted one? |
