AMQ 4061 PROBLEM

i am facing a problem while starting sender channel on a windows machine whose reciver channel is on a tandem machine.though the receiver channel is up the sender is always in retrying mode(initially binding)
these where working fine till some time back but suddenly this problem has occured.One thing the tandem machine was shut down but since i again restarted everything including qmanger and listener it should not be a problem.
when i am trying to ping to the tandem m/c it is displaying error code AMQ4061 THAT IT IS NOT ABLE TO CONVERSE WITH THE REMOTE M/C.
but how is it possible since receiver channel is working fine(SINCE TWO DAYS).
Some one help me out of this problem

I am having a similar problem using a Solaris box. I can get the sender chl from Solaris to windows up and running no problem. But I can not get the chl from windows to solaris running without the AMQ4061 error. Any ideas?

Make sure your CONNAME is properly defined on the SDR Channel.
The remote listener is running.
The remote channel initiator is running.
The remote RCVR Channel is properly defined.

And if all this fails try one more thing

do a stop channel (<name>) mode(force) on the receiver
Once stopped stop the sender channel
start the receiver channel, -- start the sender channel.
