I am writing a multi threaded jms program on an HP-UX platform using mq 5.3. Sometimes I get this error :

MQJMS1016E an internal error has occured. Please contact your system
administrator. Detail: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Does anyone have an idea what this error means.

Looks like you are continuing processing even after you get the error. You need to find out why you are getting the JMS error first. You should actually print the linkedexception to find out what the real MQ error is

I'd like see several things:

- what version (CSD) of WMQ are you using?
- did you catch the linked exception? what does it show?
- are there any *.FDC files in the errors subdirectory?

This should help figure out what might be wrong.
