Hi

I have been trying to enable MQ funtions in DB2 UDB but in vain. I am getting the following msg:

db2 => enable_MQFuntions -n TOOLSDB -u db2admin -p db2admin
DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was no
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
SQL1024N A database connection does not exist. SQLSTATE=08003

I am using 530.8 CSD08 and DB2 UDB v8.1.2.169 Enterprise version.

Anybody has some clue?

Regards,
Rax

Did you consider connecting to the Tools database first?

Yes... I connected the database 'TOOLSDB' before issuing enable_MQFunctions command

Rax,

You have to issue the enable_MQFunctions command at home/sqllib/cfg prompt but not at db2prompt.
