when running the fmczutil why do I get:

5:/home/mqm #> fmczutil
FMC33899I libfmczdfnc.a(share.o) was not loaded.
FMC33201I Configuration Commands Menu:
l ... List
s ... Select
x ... Exit Configuration Commands Menu


INSTEAD OF :


Configuration identifier : [FMC] FMC
FMC33202I Selected Configuration Commands Menu:
Selected configuration : FMC (Default configuration)
c ... Configuration Settings Menu
r ... Runtime Database Commands Menu
q ... Queue Manager Commands Menu
x ... Exit Selected Configuration Commands Menu

I'm logged in as fmc, and when log in as root I get a different menu too

Based on the above information I think you are logged in as mqm.
You can create configuration as root.
You can administer configurations as fmc.

Hope this helps.
Also, reply back when something works.

Vennela/Ratan, it looks beautiful now. I really thank you much for ur help.

Vannela, I manage to get the fmczutil to work by selecting (s) and then clicking on the enter. I thought that's what you said last night, but I got a bit confused. I configured the client using PORTAL queue manager as you told me to. Now I can send messages within thecluster; my only issue now is that when I run the fmcautil from the portal machine to connect to workflow server, it hangs for about 8 min, then it gives me a timeout error.

Here it goes:

Check that your cluster sender and reciever channels are running.
