Is this possible? I haven't got this to work.
The mqmessage.priority does not seem to act as a filter for receiving messages.
Any sample code for this? |

I thought that the default was to get messages based on priority based on the MSGDLVSQ field of the queue definition. |

I do not believe it is possible to select messages from a queue based on priority - that is, I don't think you can ask for priority 5 messages regardless of whether or not there are priority 6 messages on the queue.
If you are getting messages in priority order, and the last message you got was a priority 5, and a new priority 6 message comes in, that is the message you will get next, not the next priority 5 message. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
