OS: HP 11.11
MQ: 5.2 CSD 06 to 5.3 CSD09
After the upgrade the channel shows up in stopped status. The channel is a SDR channel.
The procesdure is straight forward.
Stop MQ
Uninstall old version
Install New version and CSD09.
Start MQ
Thanks

What happens if you restart it ?
Did you try that and are just trying to warn us about this feature or is there something deeper going on there ?
Thanks

Did you try deleting and recreating the channel?

It starts OK.
Even if I bounce the QMGR, the channel comes up fine.
I was aware of this problem earlier with CSD06 but the readme of CSD09 says
Quote:
IY53917 - Sender or server channels went into STOPPED state after
migrating from WMQ 5.2 to WMQ 5.3 (see alsoSE14601)
I expected that this is fixed by some CSD. But I still have this problem.
Since I have to upgrade on multiple machines and since I am doing this by script, I have to write another script to fix this.
I wanted to know if there was anything that I can do to prevent the happening or if there was some step that I was missing.
