I get an error from the client app connecting to a QM on a MQ Server ...
"JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for ..."
Caused by: com.ibm.mqservices.MQInternalException: MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
at com.ibm.mq.MQInternalCommunications.establishChannel(MQInternalCommunications.java:1544) "
Resolution --> i have done a "setmqaut -m QMGRNAME -t qmgr -p username +all mqi" and did a "refresh security". IS that enough or anything from the app side need to be done. The user belongs to "mqm" group and used by app server team. |

This does not seem to be an authorization problem. Investigate why you are getting a 2009. make sure that a network path between the client and server exists, the server queue manager has a listener running at the correct right port, the client machine has the correct names for the server connection channel and the queue manager configured. |

Did it solve your problem or are you asking for the resolution and you are asking if the above proposed resolution would solve it? |

I am not sure since i cannot test from the client app machine. So this is what i have done, so wanted to know if that fix works for the problem posed. I can have them check all the QM, channel names from the apps side. The QM is running on the server and the listener listening on 1414 port on the QM box. |
