I am trying to write a windows script that would call SAVEQMGR for the qmgr on that box and do some backups.
Do anyone of you know or can give me a headsup on any such script?
Thanks,

We don't use a script to call saveqmgr. We set up a Scheduled Task in Windows. In the "Run" box in the "Add Scheduled Task" utility, we call saveqmgr with the parameters that we need. You can use a parameter to say how you want the output file named and so forth. We run the task under a local user ID that is a member of the mqm group.
You can also use saveqmgr to back up remote queue managers. This is handy if you want to store the backup scripts someplace other than the box where the queue manager lives. We back up all our Unix queue managers remotely from a Windows box.
