I'm trying to install WBIMB 5.0 on AIX. When I cd to the /cdrom/AIX/RAC directory and try to run the command to install the Agent Controller
( java -jar setup.jar -console ) I get an error saying -jar: illegal argument.

Am I missing a java file, or does this command have to be run through X Windows or something? .. I'm using telnet to connect to the AIX box. Has anyone seen this before?

You're probably running an old version of Java; try java -fullversion to see what you're using. You'll need at least 1.3.1.

what does "which java" show?

How about "java --version"?
