Hi,
when I browse a queue located on a z/OS-based queue manager I newly get an error message concerning the codepage ( convert option is switched off ):
(1) MQMD IOException: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: Cp273
The CCSID of the message is 273. No error message with the convert option turned on, but I'm still not able to forward the message to another queue, I get a similiar error message:
IOException: Cp273
JVM 1.5.0_02 / MQVE 1.3.1A / WebSphereMQ 5.3.1 for z/OS
Any ideas?

Hi Jan,
Are you using the international version of Java? I have found Sun's Java download for US English is missing a lot of code pages.
The version of 'MQ Visual Edit with JVM' on my web site has the v1.5 JVM with international support. Please download it and give it a try.
Also, first uninstall your current version of MQ Visual Edit then install it with the JVM.
Is codepage 273 German?
