All,
I have a question regarding Work Items of a worklist. I am "admin" on workflow and I have great trouble in maanging the Work Items of work list especially when there are huge in number it takes more time to load all the items. Right now I have 1203 items on my list and it takes lot of time to load all. Hence my questions.
1. I have many notification items and I would like to delete some. But webclient provides deleting of individual items. I mean you can select one at a time. Is there any way i can delete workitems enmass using particular search criteria. For example items with particular description or state etc?
2. Is there any way I can customize my webclient so that I can pull workitems on a criteria I choose?Like itmes items with particular description or state etc
If I can, I would like to know what needs to be done.
Please let me know if you need further explanation of my question
Thanks

1) There is no way to do a mass delete (or any other function) in the web client, you could use the Fat client, or write a little utility program using the API.

2) You can set a Filter on the worklist.

You can customize your Web Client using a new viewer like the JSPViewer used in Web Client. In the customized viewer, you can do what you want such as providing a checkbox before each work item, and a delete button to delete all the selected workitems.

Thanks for the reply.
Could you please let me know where I can find information about writing utility programs using API provided?

The IBM Programming guide, but if you are writting in java, the javadoc should have been installed for you during installation.
