Question. When building a Bar/Archive file, there is an option to include the messageset/source in the bar files. I would assume, that this is handy for having the source backed up on the configuration manager or for sending a bar file to another person and allowing for the import of the runtime as well, as the source to another toolkit.
Question: What is the intention of including the source in the bar?
Question: How can the source be extracted from the bar files and imported into the toolkit?
I have searched documentation high and low and see no reference on how to extract this data for reuse.
The bar file is a zip file that also has source code ( if you choose the option include source files).
You can unzip the the bar file using winzip to see all your source code files.
If you save all the source files in the workspace directory you can open the files using your toolkit.
Search this forum for bar file. You shold see a very good discussion that starteed a few weeks ago. _________________ Nyzam
