Please do not post multiple times. The answer won't be any faster.
Can you please give some context to your question ?

Hold queue is not one of the official queue types.... or commands for messaging queues. Now if you talk about printer queues....

sorry for multipe postings.

I have posted the question in CLUSTER group... i dont know how to call back..thats the reason i posted twice.

I have heard of this QUEUE in Business process model.. Process choreographer..

Or in conjuction with the Process Choreographer system?

I guess you are talking about Execution Server Hold queue. You can find info on it i one of the MQ Workflow documentation

If you are referring to Process Choreographer, the Hold Queue is one of the four queues required for use by the Business Process Engine. The Hold Queue and the Retention Queue are used for error handling.

In addition, there is an Internal Queue and an API Queue.

That's all I know (which isn't much). BPE is being piloted here, but the MQ admins have not yet been involved.
