I have an AIX 5.2 machine with MQ/MQWF/Oracle Client on it. I have a Win2k machine with the oracle server running. I can make a connection between the two using SQLPLUS and the connection is made when the config begins. However the connection is lost and there is a SQL error returned. Following is the stdout during the creation of the Runtime DB:

******************
SQL> DEFINE SPOOLFILE_FOR_ORACLE_SCRIPTS=/var/fmc/cfgs/FMC/log/createD
SQL> DEFINE SPOOLFILE_FOR_TBS_CREATION=/var/fmc/cfgs/FMC/log/fmczctbs.
SQL>
SQL> set termout off

JServer Release 9.2.0.5.0 - Production
FMC33130I Initializing the database.
FMC33003I fmczbstr -gFMCGRP -sFMCSYS -xFMC -dfmcdb -ufmc
FMC24500I fmczbstr is starting.
FMC31000E A database error occurred. SQL code: -942.
FMC24560I fmczbstr finished and found 1 errors 0 warnings. RC = 20
FMC33149E Return code from Bootstrap is: 20
- FMC33920E Error occurred. See /var/fmc/cfgs/FMC/log/@fmczrt.log.root for more information.
FMC33201I Configuration Commands Menu:
l ... List
s ... Select
c ... Create
x ... Exit Configuration Commands Menu
***************

I have tried various attempts to get the configuration to work, but I continue to encounter this error and the config fails. I would appreciate some help, I have checked the logs and the FMCXXXXXx output that is listed above is all that is being logged in the /var/fmc/cfgs/FMC/log/@fmczrt.log.root I traced the fmczchk and didn't see any errors thrown in there.

Thanks

Alex

Alex:

Is your Oracle DB on windows? I am not sure by looking at your post, but if it is, that would be the problem since Oracle is only supported for the RTDB on Unix.
