Hello!

I've gone thru the forums here but could not find an answer (not even
my sysadmin could...) regardinga an error that occurs with MQSI 2.1
when I try to export C headers of my message set. What I find is

Extracting Type Members
Warning: The C Language Plugin is not installed and registered for the project
Warning: The C Language Names will not extracted as the plugin is not available for this project

How/where should this pluging be installed?

Are there alternative ways to archive consolidated message sets? I was
planning to extract headers and put them under CVS.

TIA

/CM

Did you add a C Language physical format to your message set?

nice question... I created the message set using good old vi on
a unix machine then did a bulf import via "Import to Message Set"
All works fine. Now I want to do the opposite since I had to.

Can the binding be done after or should it be done at creation time?

thanks!

I don't recall the details of 2.1 very well any more.

I thought you had to add the C Physical Format (Language format?) before you *could* import c header files to create message sets.

I suspect that your message sets won't deploy as is either.

Try adding the C Physical Format and see what it does.
