Hi Guys,
We want to remove a FR queue manager from the cluster. According to the Clustering manual we have to do the following-

1) SUSPEND QMGR CLUSTER(CLUST1)
2) STOP CHANNEL(TO.QM1)
3) ALTER CHANNEL(TO.QM1) CHLTYPE(CLUSRCVR) CLUSTER(' ')
4) DELETE CHANNEL(TO.QM1)
5) STOP CHANNEL(TO.QM2)
6) DELETE CHANNEL(TO.QM2)

It also says:

Quote:
Before you can remove a repository queue manager from a cluster you must perform an additional step. You must alter the queue manager definition to set the REPOS and REPOSNL attributes to blank. This sends a notification to other queue managers advising them that they must stop sending cluster information to this queue manager.

Do we need to do the following -
ALTER QMGR REPOS(' ') REPOSNL(' ')

If so do we do it after the 6 steps mentioned earlier or before.

thanks
shash

In your list, it's actually Step 0.

Cheers,
