I want to write out control records to a UPES queue at select points in my workflow intead of using the audit queue that is shared by the entire workflow system. One of the fields I want to capture at the time I write out the message is system date/time. How do I do this in a UPES step?

If I can't have it as part of my data container, is this information in the MQ message itself that would be acccessible to the listener program?

Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe I don't understand here. Is this a message going to a UPES or are you talking about a UPES writting a message to an "Audit Queue"

The way I read what you are saying I would think you could just have your UPES get the current system time and write it out to your "Audit Queue" with the rest of your data.

Even I am not clear on what you are trying to do. If you want the date and time in a message , why dont you get it from MQMD.
