Hi!
I am exploring the pub/sub functionality and I have some basic level questions.
- FIRST
What is the subscription basicly? Is this a relation between a topic and a user-broker-queue trio?
When I made my first subscription test, one enrty created in a subscription list with userA who wanted to receive publish messages about topic1 into a queueA. After it I tried to make an another subscription with userB, who wanted to receive publish messages about topic1 into a queueA too, but it was not allowed.
If there is a (for example a front end) system with one input queue and with several users, who can use that part of the system which makes publications and/or subscriptions (for example toward the backend systems), but these users have different rigths in pub/sub environment, than how can I build up these environment?
- SECOND
I made a basic topic tree. It has one parent topic (A) with 3 second level nested topic (B,C,D). For topic A I set the ACL with PublicGroup Deny - Publis and Deny - Sub. For topic B I set the ACL with userA Allowed - Publis and Deny - Sub.
After these I made a test subscription for topicB with userA. It was rejected corretcly. Than I made an another test subscription for topicB/# with userA. It was successful. Why?
Thanks

There is a topic1. UserA has a subscription to it with a subscription point, named for example subpX.
There is a simple publissher flow with an MQInput node and a Publication node /with empty Subscription Point parameter./
When a publication made in topic1, without SubPoint, nothing received by UserA.
When a publication made in topic1, with <SubPoint>subpX</SubPoint> in the <psc> of the publication's MQRFH2 header, then nothing received by UserA either.
When the flow was modified by filling the Subscription Point parameter, UserA has received publicated messages independently from the value in the <SubPoint> header tag.
Are these results correct?
If there is only one publication node with default subscription point, publications are not received independenty from the subscription point value of the subscriptions. Why?
If the publisher sets the Subscription Point in its message, it will have no effect during the publication of this message. Why?
Thanks

This documentation is equal of the content of the help of the workbench.
It did not help me, may be its paragraphs about of the options is too compressed or maybe I am the looser.
Anyway, I don't understand lot of basic options. Is there any guide which introduce the working of theses options (with lots of examples).
The meaning of the SubName, SubIdentity, VariableUserId are totally cloudy for me.
Can anybody help me to understand these basics (with examples or link to a guide, ect)?!
Regards
