Hi,
In see my log gets appened with AMQ9209 in the /var/mqm/qmgrs/*****/errors , and there is no network problem ,( I see this error in both boxes, and they used to work well before) .
I am not loosing any messages , and there is no network issue, i did the ping , netstat , snoop and there is no network issue.
Please let me know if I am misssing some thing.

AMQ9209: Connection to host zzzzzz (X.X.x.x)' closed.
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from 'zzzzz (X.X.x.x)' over TCP/IP.
The connection to the remote host has unexpectedly terminated.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator. |

Is this a one time logging, or does it log always. Are there any FD files created. Is there a possibility that the network went down for just a sec and came back up again. During this period there were no messages being transmitted, but there were active channels running. Which showed this error. But they too recovered on. Is there a recovery/strarting of the channels after this error message in the logs. Are you able to recreate this problem always. I would assume that the boxes are either solaris/unix.

The network is not down, and messages are not lost, I dont even think the channel is going down at all. I am not sure why this message is being appended to the logs,
As these logs are being over written I dont have to clear any logs,
But I am not sure why this is happening,

I met this error too, and I conquered this issue as below:
I delete all queue which defined by me, and then reset them, but when i define a queue, I command like this: define qlocal('test.queue').
Caution: You can't define a queue like this: define qlocal(test.queue). |

You can define a queue like that! Only it will uppercase automatically when not using quotes!
define ql(test.123) = define ql(TEST.123) = define ql(tEsT.123) results in QL(TEST.123)
define ql('test.123') results in QL(test.123)
