I am trying to automate message flow deployment and have a few questions:
1. Is there a command line tool for importing a Bar file?
2. When I have deployed flows via the Message Broker Toolkit I have been told to check both the event log section in the toolkit as well as the Windows Event Logs for errors. If I deploy via a batch file and a CALL to MQSIDEPLOY, can I just check the errorlevel being returned from the command file or do I have to still check elsewhere? Also does that errorlevel reflect the error I would see in the Toolkit event log section, the windows event logs, both?
3. Does anyone know of any code examples of how this might be done? Thanks
You can create the bar file from the command line using mqsicreatebar and deploy it using mqsideploy commands.
Look at the manuals on how to use these commands. _________________ Nyzam

Thanks for the reply. The first question was about importing the bar file not creating it. I know that when I use the toolkit I have to import the barfile before I do a deploy. I assume I still have to do an import even if I am using MQSIDEPLOY to deploy. Is this not correct? If so, what command can be used to do the import?
Also I would still appreciate an aswer to the second question by someone. Thanks in advance.
Other people have discussed this before, there are a lot of gory details available through the search function. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
