I just noticed a job requirement for MqSeries Admin, with experience using WBI Technology. They say its works along with Mqseries. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any ideas what it is, and how it interacts with MqSeries?
Thanks!

WBI also used to be called CrossWorlds Interchange Server |
I dont think that is true. WBI is a suite of integration and Process management products. MB, ICS (Crossworlds), Connect, Adapters,.......... are part of it. _________________ -Ratan |

I simply don't think whoever wrote the ad really understood it. Or the person who did understand it wasn't the last one to touch it.
But then again, people still refer to WAS as "WebSphere". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

it's all about marketing...
IBM had mainframe, 2 midrange lines and PCs... too complicated... buy an e-Server... problem solved...
The same is happening to WebSphere... now that DB2 Information Integrator has crossed the line... the road is is clear for WebSphere DB ... _________________ Michael

There is a lot of confusion caused by Websphere rebranding, IBM buying Holosofix and Crossworlds. But WBI Integration Server is former Crossworlds Interchange Server. Most of the connectors belonged to Interchange server when it belonged to Crossworlds. They are not a new addition, you just have to pay for them separately and yes IBM is including MB with Integration Server. _________________ Mikhail Malamud
