Has anyone implamented VERITAS ver 4 on Sun Sol using MQ 5.3? having problems with the scripts, it appears VERITAS has changed some of the attributes and the support pac appears to have some issues in the scripts.
We have changed the scripts clean, monitor, mqm_monitor, mqm_common, online and offline from using he "LogLevel" attribute to the LogDbg and still having issues. |

Looks like those mqm_mon etc are you costumized scripts, not the standard MQ commands |

We are using standard scripts, only in ver 4 the LogLevel attributes are not valid as I understand.

If you refer to Veritas cluster Server, you need install de support Pack MC6A for MQSeries and recreate de Queue Manager with the script hacrtmqm |

The issue is in Ver 4 Veritas changed it's attribute list and the attribute LogLevel is no longer valid. THis attribute is used in almost all the scripts provided in the support PAC. The replacement varable is LogDbg.
Also the log_message common routine has changed due to new values used to indicate logging level. If you need to fix this quicJust place a return at the 1ST statement and fix later.
This information is detained in the Veritas agent guide for the new release. Mostlikely IBM will have a new version soon. Keep you eye open for the new version. |
