Hi all,
I have to make a message transformation from TDS TO XML.

I have created a message set project MSP and inside it a message set MS
and then created a message defnition file the MD.I have added a message MSGG and two local elememts FIRSTNAME AND LAST NAME .

I have set the properties of the input queue and in the ESQL I have

SET OutputRoot.XML.N.FN=InputRoot.MRM.FIRSTNAME;

SET OutputRoot.XML.N.LN=InputRoot.MRM.LASTNAME;

BUT THIS IS NOT WORKING

IT IS GOING TOT HE FAIL QUEUE
I HAVE
MQINPUT->COMPUTE->MQOUTPUT
FROM MQINPUT FAIL TO ->MQOUTPUT(FAILQUEUE)
THE MESSAGE IS GOING TO THE FAILQUEUE
CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THE ERROR THAT I AM MAKING.
I HAVE GIVE THE MESSAGE SET NAME MESSAGE TYPE NAME AND MESSAGE FORMAT TO THE MQINPUT QUEUE.

Okay.

When messages go to the failure queue, then an event or several is put into the system log.

These messages will tell you what is wrong.

If you are using windows, you should look in Event Viewer under the Application log.
