Question:
I have used the support pack:
IA06: WBI Message Broker - Get all environment variables
to work with the node GenEnvPlugIn.
I am running IBM WBIMB v5.0.3 on Microsoft XP Professional. After running this patch and putting the required '.lil' file and plugin file in the directory as mentioned, the tooklit is not able to detect this plugin.
Please advise how to make sure that it detects the plug in and does this support pack runs in XP Professional.

Just checking. The lil file is on the broker machine and the plugin is in the toolkit machine and you have restarted both systems. _________________ Keith Guttridge

I do not understand your query. Can you please explain it.
Before copying into the the ' .lil ' file into <WBIMB-root>\bin and Plug-in into from the /Toolkit directory to <WBIMB-root>/eclipse/plugins or <WBIMB-root>/ibtoolkit/eclipse/plugins, I have stopped the broker and config mgr and then restarted it after copying. But still the tooklit is not able to detect it. Please advise. Here both config mgr and broker exists in the same system. |

Hello Satyasheel,
I think you have copied the files into the wrong directory. Else, try to rebuild your workdpace and see if it makes a difference. Please stop the broker and restart the WBIMB toolkit.

I am experiencing the same problem, The document says we should copy "SupportPacs" folder to plugins directory. I tried both the locations ibtoolkit/eclipse/plugins and eclipse/plugins
still i dont see the plugin in tollkit. |

The eclipse/plugin folder is the correct location.
I can't look at the support pack right now, since it is only available through FTP and I am at a client site.
What should go in the eclipse/plugin folder is a folder that is named after the pluginId and the version, like "com.ibm.etools.gef_2.0.3". this will have the plugin.xml file at it's root, and other info and subfolders as appropriate.
The Support Pack should include a folder with the right name and the right contents. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
