The requirement is to monitor a specific que...and for EVERY message that is being PUT on the queue....the following information needs to be extracted / stripped of from the message and the extracted message is then passed on to another local queue.

The information thats needs to be extracted are:

1. Origination of the Message ( Name of the QM, Application)
2. Message ID
3. Date and Time Stamp.
4. Correlation ID

COA can provide all the above, but am just wondering if there are other methods out there like triggering or support pacs. Thanks in advance to your inputs.

You could use an API exit to capture this information, I think.

That could be problematic for messages that you expect an application reply to. The COA process uses the ReplyTo Q/QM for it's messages.

You could take a look at MirrorQ.
