Hello,
when you install the basic version of MQ series 5.3 you can use only ptop implementation. For pub/sub we need to install the support pac . I am able to run the sample programs succesfully . I have few queries about this -
In MQ explorer i can define only queue but there is no intrerface for me to define topics in IBM MQ explorer. I can define all the JMS objects only using the JMS admin command line interface. Please let me know if there is any GUI interface i can use to define these topics.
Thanks,

If you want to administer topics (ie, register them), then you need to look into one of the actual broker products (eg, WBI Message Broker/Event Broker). MA0C doesn't give you this capability. |

Also, you can't secure topics with the support pack. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Message Broker Toolkit included with the Message Broker or Event broker is an eclipse based management utility that will allow you to view current subscriptions and other subscription relevant information. |
