Hi all,

Is it possible to use the esql SELECT statement to do this? Or do I have to write more lines of code than that to accomplish? Or do I have to write a stored procedure so I could use the database's sql SELECT with which we could use the UNIQUE qualifier to obtain the unique values.

I don't think it's possible with the built in ESQL database calls. But take a look at PASSTHRU, as you can issue any SQL with this.

ESQL Select does not have a UNIQUE clause.

Nor does it have an ORDER BY or GROUP BY clause.

All three of these would be very nice to have. Maybe in a future release.
