I am new to WBIMB. We have to install broker in solaris and config manager in windows and toolkit on my local windows desktop. What ports needs to open for firewall between all those systems to communicate. I think mq should be on all systems and we can have 1414 on all of them. Does WBIMB 5.0 needs a port? what are they??

You do not need MQ on the machine where you want to run the toolkit.
All you need is the MQ Client.
Regarding the ports I think you should also open a port for remote debugging . I am not sure but I think the port is 10002 for your Agent Controller.

Mr. mqkid,

Nope, WBIMB do not need any listeners. (it does need listener ports when you create the broker, config managers queue managers) WBI modeler doesn't need it either. not sure about WBI montor...

If any of the message flows deployed in your broker is using any SCADA nodes, then you need to open the ports used by those nodes (default:1883)

So you were able to successfully get the message and read it into Scada, you just had issues with getting it to process thru your message flow?
