Hi gurus,

I'm trying to understand ssl setup.

If i define my SVRCONN channel with SSLCAUTH as optional.
then
do i need to create the cert on the server and export it to client or
i need to create the cert at the client and import it to the server.

please advise me

Create the Cert on the MQServer. Export the Key on the Server then distribute it to the Applications that want to use SSL.

Sender needs public key to be able to send encrypted to receiver who holds private key.
