I have to Build a process in Build time and import it in to AIX Work Flow Server the process is as follows
I have activity A(noop)followed by Activity B and C ,for activity C i am asiggning a program named P(I am invoking a program on AIX,So on the operating system tab for AIX i have given (AIX path) /home/fmc/test.sh ) .Now i have a runtime client from AIX to windows .I am abel to create and start the process, but when i start the work item C it is going in to a INERROR state, I am not abel to understand why it is going in to an error state. |

You can tell why it is in an InError state by looking at the ErrorReason. This is displayed for you on the Properties when you use the THIN CLIENT monitor. Or you can use the api to retreive the value. If I recall correctly, you can also see the reason in the fmcsys.log
But I bet it cant locate the executable. _________________ John McDonald

Workitem is inError state because there is no executable on windows platform for it. To start the Workitem run PEA on the AIX platform.
Search for fmcxspea on how to start the PEA _________________ -Ratan |
