Hi guys,
Thanks for all the help.
I have created broker and configmgr on win 2000 and WBIMB 5.0 and its working fine.
The service userid of configmgr is abcd on windows m/c.
and the service userid of thebroker on the solaris m/c is mqsiuser.
When i try to deploy the broker. it says the userid abcd is unable to access SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.QUEUE.
So now i had created the abcd userid on the solaris box and and added it to the mqbrkrs and mqm group.
When i try to change the broker service userid using mqsichange broker it says unable to change the permission.
And when i try to create a broker using the new userid abcd its fine but it is creating core files when i try to start the broker.
You don't need to change the service user of the broker.
You merely need to authorize the configmanager service user to the broker queue manager. Which you did when you put it in mqm. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
I got a UUID mismatch. So I deleted the broker from the cfgmgr and also the real broker using mqsideletebroker and tried to do a complete deploy.
But it says unable to find the earlier broker qmgr. So i deleted the broker tables from the configmgr database.
And I tried to do the complete deploy. It doesn't give me any kind of warnings or any other info in any of the logs. Except "waiting for answer from cfg mgr" alert
Is it okay if i create another broker and deploy it now or should i wait for some kind of output.

If this is initial setup then I'd suggest that you delete and re-create the config mgr. _________________ Kiran
