Hello guys:
Here is another question about WAS embedded messaging.
I'm testing my application's capability to recover from network failure.
So I simulate the failure by unplug the network cable of both client and server. Cut off the client network is ok, once the network is reconnected, everything works fine. However, if I unplug the server(where the WAS and JMS Server runing), the server's JMS broker seems fail to recover any more. Client cann't create subscribers (exceptions says no broker response). Run the PSIvt verification program on the server, in the create subscriber step, the same error occurs saying that no broker response.
completetion code 2 ,reason 2033.
But if I restart the WAS , everything is recovered.
So I wonder whether this is expected behavior of JMS Server ? If so, once the WAS sufferred a network failure it must be restarted in order to reenable JMS broker ? Is there any configuration step I missed ?
Thanks! |
