Hi,
I have a problem with a userdefined node in WBI MB.The node has been coded in java.
In WMQI 2.1 the .jar file was plced in the "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\jplugin" folder, considering the default installation path was maintained. The .gif file would be placed in the "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\images".
I have a problem on my hands now while migrating my flows which use this node from V2.1 to V5. I suppoae the .jar would be placed in the "C:\.....\Websphere Business Integration Message Broker\jplugin", though i am not too sure about this.
Any ideas???????

Yes, the jar file will still go into jplguin directory in WBIMB 5.0
In addition to this you need to create .msgnode file or it can be created as a result of migrating the plug-in node using mqsimigratemsgflows command. There were many discussions around this topic in this forum. Please do a search to find related posts.

Hi
Thanks for the reply Kiran. . I have manged to migrate the node, though i i have a doubt regarding the .jar file. Is it nessesary for the .jar file to have the same name as the Class(with the main() function) in the java code??

Hi Prithvi,

It is not necessary for the jar file to have the same name as the class name. The broker on startup reads the jar files in the jplugin directory and extracts the classes from each jar file.
