Everytime I try to use fmcibie to delete a person, I receive this error in the log. FMC31000E A database error occurred. SQL Code -811.

When looking up SQL Code -811 it means: The result of an embedded select statement is a table of more than one row, or the result of the subquery of a basic predicate is more than one value.

FMC31000E just tells me to analyze and correct the error and restart. But, I don't know what and where to analyze. Below is the FDL that I am trying to import. I imported with FMCIBIE -u ADMIN -p password -i staffdowns122804.fdl -o -t HELP!!

DELETE PERSON 'DOWNSJA'

Thanks!

This is a new one to me....

Can you dump all of your Person objects?

Try this:

fmcibie -uadmin -ppassword -ePeople.fdl -c"EXPORT PERSON *"

If this is successfull look and see if there are duplicates for that user (I seriously doubt this).

Also what version are you running?

We are running 3.4. When I ran the fmcibie that you gave me, it came up with 134 entities and none were duplicates. Any other ideas?

I am not sure about this will solve your problem, but try to restart all your services ( WF, MQ, DB2 in the order), and then try to run fmcibie again.

Strange....

The only other thing I can think of is that somehow this user, "DOWNSJA", has some assignment to some other object(s). In the past when I have run into this, I have received an error message that stated something to that effect. I.E. "DOWNSJA can not be deleted because of associations to other objects"... I am sure you get the idea.

It would be difficult to find these associations, but if the database is small enough you might want to have a look. Look for assignments as ProcessAdministrator of a Model, or maybe coordinator of a role. The other issue is if DOWNSJA is the starter of a running process instance.

I would probably open a PMR on this.

GOOD LUCK
