Hi,
I am planning to take Test 297 IBM WebSphere MQ V5.3 Solution Development. Can you please tell me, if these suggested four redbooks are sufficient for preparation.
redp3636 WebSphere MQ Queue Sharing Group in a Parallel Sysplex environment.pdf
sg24584 MQSeries Version 5.1 Administration and Programming Examples.pdf
sg246506 MQ Series programming patterns.pdf
sg246814 MQ Security.pdf
Or it is required to study some other stuff also.
As the sample test is no longer free, if someone has the old questions ( when it used to be free), can you please post them.. or can u please mail them to me at basudevagrawal@gmail.com.

| It has been a while since I took the test, but what you have listed doesn't seem like it is enough to me. I'd suggest looking at the recommended resources and focus on them. |

The test agreement does not allow anyone to share sample questions with others.
As far as the preparation material goes, you can refer to IBM website. Here is the url,

These are the four redbooks suggested in the recommended resources. Apart from these, there are some IBM courses suggested which I can not take ( as they will not be available in India) and lot of manuals.
Hence need your suggestions on what else should I study? If these manuals are a must, which manuals should I focus on.

I think this agreement applies to the actual test questions and not the sample test questions. I took couple of IBM Websphere related certifications and the sample papers were posted on a Java forum since long and people were freely discussing those papers. Hence I had put a request for the sample papers. |

Can someone give me a list of books/ material over the web, which one need to study to clear Test 297. I understand this forum has many members who have cleared this test..
I am a newbie in this area.. Please help me out and share your experiences..

When you look at the Test objective, you will see a list of topics and the number of percentage. You can concentrate more on these sections in the manual.
