Hi,
Anybody please help me in this problem.
Actually i am trying to connect to Websphere MQ5.3 which is on unix box from weblogic8.1. I used a startup class in weblogic to create objects.
Queue name is Qname
Looking up for queue Qname
Looked up queue
Creating queueConnection :
Exception occurred: javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for 'hostname:Qmanager'
can anyone please tell me what will be the problem?
is it with channel or port(i am using 1414)?
Thanks in advance

Please post the linked MQException. This will contain the Reason Code and Completion Code that tell you what the actual problem is.
Please SEARCH HERE for linked exceptions before you ask how to write the code to catch the linked exception. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

My guess is that your linked exception will show a 2058 or 2059. If it is the 2058, check that you have your qmgr name right. If it is a 2059, make sure that you have your listener running and that you have your JNDI information set to point to the right place. And yes, the problem could be with the channel or the port. |
