I am using Visual Age for Cobol v2.2 and this is the error i get while compiling sample MQSeries programs. I use MQSeries v5.3 with CSD8

C:\Work\Cobol>cob2 amq0put0.cbl -qlib "c:\work\cobol\mqmcbb.lib"
PP 5639-B92 IBM VisualAge for COBOL (Windows) 2.2 in progress ...
End of compilation 1, program AMQ0PUT0, no statements flagged.
c:\work\cobol\mqmcbb.lib : fatal error LNK1101: invalid object module at file of
fset 0x00000b80+0x00

According to the SOE, we only support IBM COBOL v3.0.1 (http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/mqfamily/platforms/supported/wsmq_for_winnt2000_5_3.html)

Chances are your version wont work as its so backlevel. If you have v3.0.1 try it!
