Hello everyone,

I have WMQ 5.3 (CSD007) running on a M$ hardware cluster with Win2k as the OS. IBM recommends to stop the queue manager through Cluster Administration. Anyone knows how to do this in a script as I need to stop the channels and the queue manager on a daily basis for backup purposes and I want to automate the process?

Thanks!

Use the cluster [[/cluster:]cluster_name] resource resource_name /offline
and /online

or cluster [[/cluster:]cluster_name] group group_name /offline and /online
if you want to bring a group of related resources on and offline
