Hi gurus,
i want to upgrade ssl package from gsk6bas 6.0.4.37 to gsk6bas 6.0.5.39.
So i'm planning to remove gsk6bas 6.0.4.37 and install gsk6bas 6.0.5.39
By doing so does it affect mqsecure in any way or
Do i need to install gsk6bas 6.0.5.39 over the existing version
The docs were not so clear about this so i am asking it here.

If you are on AIX you can install the new gsk6 filesets over the top of the existing gsk6 filesets with no problems. Note you may need to install some C or C++ filesets so the new gsk6 utility will work with the CMS database.

When I did this as part of installing CSD08 (on Solaris), the old package had to be removed before adding the new one (6.0.5.41). I presume this is the same for previous versions.
The version you are talking about comes with CSD06 - you could always check the memo.ptf file for confirmation.  [/img] |

Thanks for the reply.
i am planning to do so(removing the earlier version and installing the latest version.
But my primary concern was does this effect MQSecure in any way????
