Hi,
When I select a message in a queue and delete it, the first message is actually deleted, and not the selected one.
Is this correct functionality, and if not, does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks,
Marcus.

Hi,
The only way this could happen is if the first message has BOTH the same MsgID and CorrelID as the selected message.

Ahhh, yep. That'll be it. This stupid company has fixed MsgID's and CorrelID's, and wouldn't let me set up the application properly. I'll see if I can harass them again into changing.
Thanks for your help,
Marcus. |

Hi,
Tell the company that the best practices for messaging from IBM, Gartner, etc... is that each message should have a unique Message ID.

Hi Fadhil,
Browse the properties of a messages on a queue and you'll find then....
You can use API calls and use them to pick a particular message on a queue etc....
