Hi,
I'm trying to access a a database, but i'm getting this error
"[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N Attempt to establish connection failed with security reason 24 ("USERID and/or PASSWORD INVALID"). SQLSTATE=08001"

I'm using WBIMB on Windows 2000. I create a ODBC connection with the DB2 driver and the test was sucessful. In my message flow, name of the ODBC source created. This message flow only have a mqinput a compute node and mqoutput .
My broker run as windows service using the user that have permissions to access the database (used when creating the ODBC).
The broker and configmgr databases are on one system and the database i am trying to access is on the other system.
Can somebody help me with this problem and let me know where i am making the mistake

Thanks.

What version of WMQI are you using? What is the command you used to create the broker?

In WMQI 2.1, if you specify -u & -p parameters in mqsicreatebroker command then this user-id will be used by the broker when interacting to any of the DB (internal or external). If you don't specify these parameters then Broker will use it's service user-id and pwd to access DB.

In WBIMB 5.0, you can issue mqsisetdbparms command to set user-id/pwd for each DSN.
