Is there a way to consume messages on the reply queue?

Currently I am using a QueueReceiver which super interfaces MessageConsumer. Once I perform receive on the reply queue, the messages are still on the queue.

I am currently trying to research this in IBM's documentation:

But did not know if maybe someone had seen this before.

I'd guess that you are doing things transactionally and aren't issuing a commit after you receive the message.
