Hi Guys,

I have an issue with TCP/IP.

I have two queue managers in my system. when i start channels between these 2 queue managers . Event viewer show this erros.

A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.

An unexpected error occurred in communications.

The return code from the TCP/IP (ioctlsocket) call was 10038 (X'2736'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.

Error on receive from host xxxx (127.0.0.1).

An error occurred receiving data from xxxx (127.0.0.1) over TCP/IP. This may be due to a communications failure.

The return code from the TCP/IP (recv) call was 10053 (X'2745'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.

It was working fine till yesterday.

Is is problem with MQ or OS?

I can able to connect and start channels between my system and remopte system.

any help will be greatfull.

Set env var MQNOREMPOOL in the system portion of the env vars to any value and reboot.

Then search this forum for my post where I asked anyone getting this problem to PM me some details from process explorer.

What did you install on the machine yesterday... Any VPN type software?

Can you please get me the dll listing for the runmqlsr process though using process explorer (make sure full paths show). I am trying to track this specific problem as it has been reported by many people
