Could you explain what have you tried so far and what exactly didn't work. _________________ Kiran

Hi Abdul,
As replied to your mail, how are you getting the SWIFT Messages? I mean is some application directly putting the SWIFT Message on your input queue?
Or are you getting a SWIFT File, full of SWIFT Messages, and then using your own client, you are putting them on Input Queue?
As Kiran says, can you give the details of errors you are getting? _________________ Vivek

Are you using the IBM message sets for SWIFT parsing, or are you 'rolling your own'? |

Noblet,
SFMS is also a Messaging Standard like SWIFT. But it's not at all a part of SWIFT.
I think, SFMS is not so famous as SWIFT. May be that SFMS is a custom standard, defined by some fin organizations (like banks) for their own transactions.
I don't know whether it's used only in India or many other countries.
Abdul, correct me if I'm wrong _________________ Vivek

Yes Vivek,
SFMS is a generic Financial Message Structure. Its widely used in Indian Banks. In my current requirement , i have to convert a SWIFT message into SFMS after that i will remove the SFMS header and put the MQRFH2 header (we can do this Header replacement with ESQL).

If you are having trouble with SWIFT messages I suggest you purchase the SWIFT message set from dubadapt@ie.ibm.com. |
