MO71 diligently follows the channel connections from MQ1 and finds that it can not reach MQx because the MQx can only be reached from MQ1. So when MO71 tries to monitor the channels between MQ1 and MQx, it comes up short and flags it as error. I have tried blocking out the error reporting but I still see the icon for MQ1 in red.
Our operations people will see the red and freakv out. I want to suppress the checking of the connections between MQ1 and MQx. Anyway I can do that and see green on the icon?

I did not mention clearly that the box running MQx can only be reached from the box running MQ1, due to security restrictions. Thus the box running MO71 can not check the channel between MQ1 and MQx. _________________ A Perl Hacker

I managed to turn-off the "Channel %c no partner channels found" message in View --> Network --> Problem selection. I had to exit the application and re-start it.
Now the remote qmgr icons are in gray and the local is in green.
